Evi Pangestu is an Indonesian painter who investigates rebellion and control within the parameter of convention. Her works pushes boundaries deriving from the grids through experimentations with structures and materials. The equitable quality of the square is Evi’s fundamental measure of being in control. 

Evi is currently based in London.
